  • JVC Boombox - JVC RA-P10 Review

We decided to review the JVC RA-P10 Boombox iPod dock. Here is what we found. First off, it looks sleek and stylish when you take it out of the box. The iPod fits in there beautifully and connects easily. It's very light and portable. It seems duerable, and it survived a couple of beer spillage incidents!

Information for this article came from: JVC Boombox hub central.

What does the the JVC RA-P10 sound like? When we had a listen, we were pleased not to get that metallic, tinny sound that is often associated with iPod docks. There's quite a wide stereo image, and the audio reproduction is crystal clear and well channeled through the speakers. Which, by the way, go very loud.

But the part that impressed us the most was the bass response. There is a rich, deep low end enhancement which you just dont expect to come out of such a small docking system. There are a range of fancy features - its also an alarm clock, FM radio, it charges the ipod on the go, and it's got a thermometer - wow! Sleek, stylsh, great sound and deep bass means that the JVC RA-P10 Boombox iPod dock receives our highest recommendation. More information on this JVC Boombox product can be found at the central JVC boombox site.
